What Happen If we Use too many Elements while designing Single Icon?

We are designing icons for the past few days to attract our site visitors with new Icon packages.

While designing one of my guy tried designing icon with more number of elements in it around 3.

Its the common mistake that most of us will do while designing icons. Icon are usually a small object to represent actions.

So Icons must be more professional with a simple look.

Usually by designing icons with 3-4 objects will cause problems.

If we are desiging it for Windows Vista then we can use the size they support. Usually the icon will look somewhat good if its bigger.

SO when size goes down to smaller then the Icon will not be upto the mark we expect. It will loose its quality and the icon visiblity will also be poor.

Finally, from my experience we should avoid using so many objects while designing a single Icon.... :)
